Onsen Ryokan "Emiya" is experiencing stagnant business. The reason is because of the landlady cracking too many jokes. The unwanted laughter that she invites has poorly affected the reputation of the Onsen Ryokan. At the same time, entertainer Ono, who causes a violent incident, ends up having to work at "Emiya" before leaving. Other employees attempt to use the laughs generated by the entertainer to spread word about the Ryokan. This leads them to learn about true "omotenashi" hospitality.
